Single Implant

A single dental implant is the gold-standard replacement for one missing tooth. A titanium post is placed into the jawbone, a custom ceramic crown is attached on top, and the result is indistinguishable from your natural teeth.

Restore Several Teeth with Implant-Supported Bridges

When several adjacent teeth are missing, implant-supported bridges eliminate the need for individual implants at every site. Two or three implant posts can anchor a multi-tooth bridge, preserving more bone while reducing cost and treatment time.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions our patients ask most before their implant consultation.

Most adults in good general health with healthy gums are suitable candidates. Our specialists assess bone density, medical history, and oral health at your free consultation to determine the best implant option for you.

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, so you will feel no pain during surgery. Mild soreness in the days following is normal and managed easily with over-the-counter pain relief. Sedation options are available for anxious patients.

With proper care, the titanium implant post can last a lifetime. Crowns and bridges typically last 15–25 years before requiring replacement. We provide a lifetime structural warranty on all implant fixtures placed at our clinic.

Not always. Many patients have sufficient bone without a graft. Where bone volume is low, a bone graft is performed several months before implant placement to rebuild the necessary foundation. All-on-4 and mini implants are specifically designed to minimise or eliminate the need for grafting.

Implants are cared for just like natural teeth — brush twice daily, floss, and attend regular dental check-ups. Implant-supported bridges and full-arch restorations may require a water flosser for optimal cleaning under the bridge.

Recovery is typically quick. Most patients experience mild swelling and discomfort for 3–5 days, managed with prescribed pain relief and rest. You can return to light work and normal diet (soft foods) within a week. Strenuous exercise and contact sports should be avoided for 2–3 weeks. Full healing and osseointegration takes 8–12 weeks, during which time you must follow post-operative care instructions carefully.
